This is a press release from Bloomfield Township. Press releases are official statements that have not been independently verified.

The Township of Bloomfield has announced that it will be hosting a community town wide garage sale on April 29 and April 30. To encourage participation, the Township has waived the garage sale permit fees for those dates which means residents can participate without having to pay a permit fee – however registration is required. Residents can register by visiting the Township’s website and completing a simple form:

“This is a great opportunity for residents to declutter their homes, make some extra money, and have some fun while doing it,” said Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia. “We encourage everyone to participate by cleaning out their homes and making some extra money.”

Participants are responsible for setting up their own sales, and should remove any unsold items or debris at the conclusion of the event.
