The Bloomfield Info Project is creating an ambassador program to help residents get involved in their community. We’ve seen firsthand that being an active, engaged citizen is difficult. So we want to make it easier.

But we need to hear from you to accomplish that. That’s why we’re hosting a virtual listening session to gather input for our ambassador program on Mar. 10 at 7:30 PM. You can register via Eventbrite here.

In addition to understanding how you may want to get involved with the Bloomfield Information Project, we want to know what we can do to help you get involved with other community service organizations.

As always, our work reflects the need we identify in our community. The vision for this initiative was first brought to us in February 2021 when a Bloomfield resident shared their idea for an ambassador program with us:

One person can’t do it all. But there are enough communities in this town where if you ask people to step up…they would do it and they would have a sense of ownership and it wouldn’t seem too big. Because everybody’s got limited time. But if there was a structure for how to be an ambassador to Bloomfield, to your neighborhood, I think people would run with it.

One year later, we’re hosting a conversation on how we better help meet that need. Join us by registering on Eventbrite here.

If you can’t make the event, you can still share your input in this short survey here.
