Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. is set to announce a benefit drive to collect non-perishable food, winter coats, and toys at Essex County’s Turtle Back Zoo to benefit families affected by the coronavirus. From December 7th through 31st, zoo visitors will receive free admission if they bring a non-perishable food item, gently used winter coat or new unwrapped toy. Reservations required. Donations will be distributed by the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Catholic Charities, the Essex County Sheriff’s Toy Drive and the Essex County Corrections Toy Drive.
