The UWB is funding this program with the support of a grant from the United Way Worldwide’s (UWW) “COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund.” The UWW fund was established for those who wish to donate and support the response and recovery efforts in communities throughout the United States. UW organizations were then selected based upon specific criteria including the area’s unemployment rate, food insecurity and changes in COVID-19 cases.
